Closest to the wedding venue is the Alabang Town Center which offers open-air retail stores and restaurants.  The SM Megamall is in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.  Next to Megamall is The Shangri-La. Glorietta in Makati City is huge with its convergence of different buildings. High-end stores can be found at the Powerplant in Rockwell, still in Makati. The SM Mall of Asia has a carnival inside for kids (and adults) entertainment.  The Trinoma in North Edsa has beautiful landscaping and stunning water features.  Native antiques and handicrafts can be found at Tiendesitas.  Still to find the best bargain items are at the Greenhills Shopping Center.  The newest development for the finicky eaters and value conscious shoppers is Market! Market! located inside Fort Bonifacio Global City.

nightlife locations

Makati
Being the country's financial district, lots of hard working office personnel goes out after work to cap the night. Makati City has a strict anti-smoking law inside the clubs and restaurants. Places to go: Makati Commercial Center, Greenbelt, The Fort, Jupiter St, and J.P. Rizal Street.

Manila
Manila's night life is all over. The crowd is very diverse. There is always something going on in Chinatown ,Malate, and the new revitalized Roxas Blvd.

Quezon City
Quezon City is a popular destination for the locals as the club prices are a little cheaper than in Makati. Most clubs here are close to each other so it is not uncommon to bar hop.  Go to: Timog Ave, Quezon Blvd, Libis (Eastwood!), and Cubao.

Subic
Subic Nightlife is known all over the world as this used to be the rest and recreation center of the US Navy. The Subic Free Trade Port is home to a lot of expatriates from other foreign countries as well as a major Tourist hub.

salon and spa

Spas have become phenomenal in the Philippines that almost all Malls have a spa boutique in them.  Prices range from $5 to $20 for a full body massage.  Phil's favorite is Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay.

fort bonifacio global city 

Fort Bonifacio is an urban development in Taguig City, Metro Manila. It also has residential condominiums, restaurants, bars, clubs, and many retail outlets.

eastwood city 

 Eastwood City is like a city within a city.  It has residential condominiums surrounded by modern everyday conveniences such as specialty stores, cinemas, a health and fitness gym, and corporate offices.

For entertainment and leisure, people normally just roam around the City Walk which has plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes.  The photo above was taken at the Fuente circle just before "The Bloomfields" first set.
